So, What Exactly Is The Fourth Industrial Revolution/World Shift? A LEAD Global Briefing From Futurist Chet W. Sisk
It can be hard to understand the Fourth Industrial Revolution/World Shift because how big the subject matter is. I understand. I am providing this video from the World Economic Forum (with special thanks to David Stevens) as a kind of primer on what's happening and why this is an opportunity for us to push the reset button on our community. It is a rare opportunity in the history of humankind to intend a world instead of allowing it to happen to us.
A couple of notes before watching this:
1. People of Color are terribly underrepresented in this video even though I know People of Color in almost every discipline represented. This too must become part of the transformation so that ALL people share in this conversation and in the solution. We need a different minds to create a different mindset.
2. This video is technology heavy, but my belief is that our concentration must be on leveraging the coming available human capital for greater and higher goals of humanity and belief. This is our chance to push the reset button on all of those stubborn human challenges of racism, sexism, economic divide, etc.
That being said, click the video above and take the time to soak in all of the information.
By request, here is a re-posting of the introduction of my book Above And Beyond All That We Know. This book was written a few years ago, before everyone started talking about The Fourth Industrial Revolution/World Shift. My book emphasizes that this change provides an opportunity for us to transform human possibilities.
Here are some events we have coming up....
If you would like to attend any of these events and be with us person to person, write me back directly at email@example.com
